What age range of students do you teach?
We have taught students between the ages of 6 and 65. We welcome all well behaved children, their parents, and grandparents.
What kind of piano do you teach on?
The piano in our studio is a Casio Privia PX-310 Digital Piano. It’s a full 88 key digital piano with weighted keys, exactly like playing on a grand piano.
The advantage to using a digital piano is volume control, the ability to change the tone of the piano, as well as recording capabilities.
Does my child need to buy a keyboard or a piano?
Homework will be given each week that will require access to a piano. Depending on the age and dedication of the student we can recommend a model of piano or keyboard for you to purchase.
We have a small stock of pianos and keyboards for sale at the store at a competitive price.
